Lords Mobile 2024 World Championship: Event Introduction

1. Event Summary
It's time to prove your might in the Lords Mobile World Championship! The top 12 teams, consisting of 36 players, will compete for glory in Phuket, Thailand this May!
2. Event Phases
2.1 Event Registration
Team registrations will officially start from 13:00, 03/18/2024 to 12:59, 03/23/2024 (GMT-5) (only open to players at Castle Lv 25). If you miss this phase, you will not be able to participate in the following phases. Please submit your registration information, along with the location of your team, before 12:59 on 03/23/2024. The final 12 teams will receive a complimentary 4-day, 3-night stay at a luxurious hotel, as well as round-trip tickets to Phuket (round-trip airfare will only be provided to and from a location that matches the player's registration area).
2.2 Online Zone Qualifiers
Teams will be divided into 8 zones based on their region. Teams will compete within their zone for ranking points through Feudal Battles, Chalice Battles, and Battle Royal events within the specified time periods, and compete for a spot on the final 12 teams.
2.3 Phuket Championship
The final 12 teams will arrive at Phuket, Thailand, on 05/17/2024. After a 2-day rest, the championship will begin on 05/19/2024. The championship will take place on an exclusive server, where all participating teams will take part in the Battle Royal. To ensure fairness and transparency, only official event accounts, which will all be provided with the same setup, will be used in the championship. The event will consist of three stages: Round 1, Round 2, and the finals.
*If there are insufficient participating teams due to any special reasons, we reserve the right to adjust the event schedule, and will inform all participants in such cases.
2.4 VIP Spectators
We will also be holding an event to pick several lucky players, who will be invited to the venue to watch the championship. They will also enjoy complimentary services such as flights, accommodation, and VIP viewing areas. Please stay tuned to in-game news for more information.
3. Online Zone Qualifiers
3.1 Registration Period: 13:00, 03/18/2024 - 12:59, 03/23/2024
3.2 Qualifier Zones
Teams will be divided into 8 zones based on their region: A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H. Teams will participate in the regional qualifiers and compete for ranking points in their zone based on their registration information. Please refer to the event page for information about your zone.
3.3 Registration Rules
During registration, you can choose to create a team or join a team:
(1) Create A Team (Requires Castle Lv 25)
Creating a team will cost 1,000 Gems. Team names can only be 3 characters long and must be decided upon creation. Please note that team names must be unique. We reserve the right to request a change of team names if they include anything inappropriate. The zone where your team is located will be based on your zone at the time of creation, and once created, the zone cannot be changed.
Share your invite code or link with other players to invite them to join your team. Please note that your team members must be in the same zone as you, and you can only have a maximum of 2 additional team members. During the registration phase, captains can disband the team, and team members can leave or be removed from the team.
If your team successfully qualifies for the championship in Phuket, round-trip airfare for you and your team members will only be provided to and from your zone. Please keep this in mind while choosing your team members.
(2) Join A Team (Requires Castle Lv 25)
You can apply to a team by using an invite code or link from another player. You will join a team once the team captain approves your application. You can change teams at any time during the registration period. Please ensure that the team you join is from your zone, as you cannot join a team from another zone.
3.4 Online Qualifiers Schedule: 13:00, 03/23/2024- 12:59, 04/01/2024
3.5 Online Qualifiers Rules
(1) After the registration closes, the list of all participating teams and their respective zones will be locked. Players may check their event points and advancements via the event rules of their respective zone.
(2) The online qualifiers will be determined based on the number of Feudal Points, Chalice Points, and Royal Points earned during the qualifiers (bonus points can also be earned for ranking high in the final Wonder occupation rankings). The final rankings will be determined based on the sum of the total points of all 3 team members. Please refer to the event page to view point details in real-time.
(3) Online Qualifiers Point Rules

3.6 Advancing to the Championship
(1) This championship is only open to players aged 18 and above. Official staff members will contact team captains in the order of the team rankings to confirm their participation. If a team decides to withdraw from the championship, their spot will be given to the next team from their zone. Please note that championship participation eligibility cannot be substituted for in-game items or physical prizes of equal value.
(2) Your team name and character names of your team members will be used by official staff for various promotional activities in the future.
(3) If your team accepts the participation invite, staff members will contact each team member via in-game mail to verify their real names, ages, passport information, email addresses, and other personal information, in order to arrange the round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations. All personal information that we collect from you will only be used to book the flights and hotels. Once this information is confirmed, it cannot be changed. Any consequences or losses resulting from incorrect or late submissions will be borne by the player.
(4) The World Championship will be held in Phuket, Thailand. Please prepare the necessary visa documents and passport for entry in advance.
4. Spectator Invitations
4.1 VIP Spectators
(1) 10 lucky players will be selected through an event in April 2024 to watch the championship live in Phuket, Thailand. Please stay tuned to in-game news for more information.
(2) Staff members will contact players according to their rankings via in-game mail to verify their real names, ages, passport information, email addresses, and other personal information, in order to arrange the round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations. All personal information that we collect from you will only be used to book the flights and hotels. Once this information is confirmed, it cannot be changed. Any consequences or losses resulting from incorrect or late submissions will be borne by the player.
(3) Players who are unable to attend due to unforeseen circumstances will have their invitations revoked. Invitations cannot be substituted for in-game items or physical prizes of equal value. Their invite will be given to the next player in the rankings.
(4) VIP Spectators will be provided with the same package (round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations) as the championship participants. Please prepare the necessary visa documents and passport for entry in advance.
5. Phuket Championship
5.1 Championship Venue
We will be holding the championship at PHUKET MARRIOTT RESORT & SPA MERLIN BEACH. The final teams and 10 VIP Spectators will receive a complimentary 4-day, 3-night stay at this hotel.
5.2 Itinerary (All times below are in local Phuket time)
(1) Flights
Participants are expected to arrive in Phuket on May 17, 2024, and depart on May 20, 2024. We will arrange transportation to pick you up and drop you off at the hotel. Please make your travel arrangements in advance to avoid any schedule conflicts.
(2) Phuket Tour
There will be a free tour that includes a spa visit and a fine dining experience on May 18th.
(3) Championship

5.3 Competition Rules
(1) The championship will take place on an exclusive server, and all players will use official event accounts (all with the same setup) to compete against each other.
(2) The event format for the championship will be the Battle Royal. Each match will last for 30 minutes, with an extra 15 minutes for the players to prepare before the match.
(3) Championship Schedule
Format: Best of 1
Round 1
During the offline championship, a random draw will be held to divide the 12 teams into two groups, Group A and Group B. They will take part in best of 1 matches. The top 2 teams from each group will advance to the finals, while the 3rd-5th teams from each group will advance to Round 2. The last team in each group will be eliminated.
Round 2
The 3rd-5th teams from Group A and B (6 teams in total) will battle it out in this stage. The top 2 teams will advance to the finals, while the rest will be eliminated.
Finals
The finals will be held in a best of 1 format, with 1 match determining the final 6 rankings.
(4) If two teams or more have the same final occupation time, rankings will be determined by championship server data.
5.4 Match Schedule (All times below are in local Phuket time)

* The championship will take place from 13:00 on May 19, 2024, to 18:00 on May 19, 2024. We reserve the right to adjust the event timings based on on-site situations. Please refer to on-site arrangements for the final schedule.

5.5 Special Cases
If there are less than 10 teams on the day of the championship, event timings may be adjusted. Please refer to on-site arrangements for the final schedule.
5.6 Event Regulations
(1) If all members of a team fail to arrive on time, their participation in the event will be considered forfeit. In the event that a team is missing some members, priority will be given to VIP Spectators to act as substitutes, and any final ranking prizes won by the team will also be awarded to the substitute player(s).
(2) If a participating player withdraws due to personal reasons during the championship, the remaining team members can still continue to compete in the remaining matches.
(3) If disconnections or malfunctions occur due to device issues during the championship for less than 3 minutes, the championship will resume as normal once the issue is resolved.
(4) If a participant experiences issues with their device, they can request a staff member to replace it with a spare device.
(5) If there is a network interruption of more than 3 minutes during the championship, event staff will determine if the match is to be restarted.
(6) If there is a bug in the server or game during the championship, event staff will determine if the match is to be restarted.
5.7 Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to prioritize friendship and adhere to proper etiquette, ensuring that their words and actions are lawful and compliant. If any participant engages in the following behaviors, we reserve the right to modify or remove the related content. Individuals (or teams) found to be in violation of the rules may face penalties such as warnings, muting, suspensions, forfeits, permanent bans, and other appropriate measures. The Lords Mobile team reserves the right to revoke participation eligibility from players or teams who violate these rules.
(1) Participants must refrain from inappropriate behavior or language during the championship.
(2) Participants cannot insult or use derogatory language towards their opponents on any platform (such as acts of discrimination, antagonism, or verbal abuse).
(3) Participants are not allowed to publish unconfirmed information or make inappropriate remarks that may damage Lords Mobile's brand image on any social media platform or other media without the permission of the organizer.
(4) Participants are expected to conduct themselves appropriately during the championship, which includes but is not limited to complying with the laws and regulations of their respective countries, refraining from engaging in any form of explicit, violent, or offensive content, avoiding discrimination or antagonism towards opponents, refraining from promoting other games, respecting the legal rights of others, and adhering to societal norms and values.
6. Event Prizes
6.1 Prize Details
1st Place: World Championship Team Trophy *1, Individual Championship Trophy *3, US$36,000 in cash, 2,400,000 Diamonds
2nd Place: Individual Runner-Up Trophy *3, US$12,000 in cash, 900,000 Diamonds
3rd Place: Individual 3rd Place Trophy *3, US$6,000 in cash, 600,000 Diamonds
4th-6th Place: 450,000 Diamonds
7th-12th Place: 300,000 Diamonds
*In addition to the prizes mentioned above, physical gift packs will also be distributed. Details will be provided on-site.
6.2 Prize Distribution
(1) Diamond prizes will be distributed equally among all members of the team's registered game accounts, based on their ranking.
(2) Cash prizes will be distributed equally among each member of the team according to the on-site rules.
6.3 Spectator Seats
(1) We have prepared seats for loyal Lords Mobile players at the venue. Players will be invited to attend via official social media, email, and more.
(2) We warmly invite all players to come watch the championship live, and we'll be giving out a special souvenir to those who attend the championship in person. Please note that this souvenir is only available in limited quantities, and will be given out on a first come, first served basis.
7. Notes
(1) This event is hosted by IGG SINGAPORE PTE. LTD.. All prize winners shall bear the taxes on the cash prizes, and shall declare and pay the taxes to the respective authorities in their countries.
(2) If the championship is interrupted or terminated due to force majeure, Lords Mobile reserves the right to make any adjustments, including but not limited to rescheduling the event, conducting the championship online, etc.
(3) By participating in this event, you automatically grant Lords Mobile the right to use your likeness (from participating in championship events, media interviews, etc.) to create and promote event-related content.
(4) The Lords Mobile team reserves the right to final interpretation of this event, its rules, and its rewards. All event participants agree to abide by all rules stated above.
